Where do you ship from?

All items are handmade in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We ship them from Calgary.

When do you ship my order?

All items are made-to-order and we need at least 5 business days to make them. For customized orders or orders with large number of items in it you will be contacted accordingly if extra time is needed.

How do you ship my package?

We work with multiple carriers depending the weight and the order destination. Within Canada we use Canada Post and UPS. For US we use Canada Post, UPS and USPS through Chitchats. International orders will be shipped via DHL Express.

Do you ship for free?

Companies who ship for free for all the orders, they hide the shipping costs into their product price. We don’t do it and shipping is not free. But we offer free shipping on orders above CAD $100 when the margin is acceptable.

How can I track my order?

Tracking number will be provided for all orders.

How do you calculate shipping costs?

Shipping costs at Good Mood Design is very transparent. If you buy through our Etsy shop, your total shipping costs will be calculated automatically based on the weight and destination. We don’t take advantage of the shipping costs. Everything will be calculated through Canada Post integrated platform.

What are the benefits of calculated shipping cost?

You pay for your order based on the weight and your destination. Multiple items can be combined in one order without affecting the total shipping costs dramatically. Transparency is also the main advantage of this method. We don’t add shipping costs top of each item so item price is separated from the shipping costs.

What if I am in Calgary? Can I pick up my item without paying shipping costs?

Absolutely. Please use this code “CALGARYPICKUP” at Etsy or our website at checkout for removing the shipping costs. We will contact you when the order is ready and you will be provided with the address and pickup time can be coordinated with buyers.

Do you ship internationally? What if I am in UK or EU?

Currently we only ship within Canada and to US. If you are located in UK or EU, please contact us so we can give you the estimate of your shipping costs. Duties and custom should be paid by customers. International items are shippied via DHL.

Returns & Exchange

We don’t accept exchanges. But you can return your item after 7 days from the day your order received based on the tracking information. We don’t ask why and it is hassle-free. Customized orders are nonrefundable. We don’t refund the shipping costs. You will be refunded for the item cost only. Also, customers are responsible for the return postage, boxing and all other associated costs.

Damaged Items

For damaged items, we will refund the damaged items costs. Damaged items should be reported with a valid proof (e.g. photo and video) within three days of the package arrival. If the whole package is damaged and all items are broken, the shipping cost will be fully refunded as well. We won’t resend the items but you can order them again once you are refunded.

Missing Items and Packages

Missing items in the package should be reported within three days and the cost will be refunded for those missing items. Alternatively, we can send the item again depending on the item.

For missing packages we rely on the tracking number. If the tracking number says “Delivered” it means it is delivered to us. If you still cannot find your package after talking to your local delivery and post office, we will open a case with the company and will fully refund your total order costs including shipping costs if the carrier accepts the package is missed and it was their fault.
